How to pop the question on Valentine’s Day

Love is certainly in the air every Valentine’s Day so it’s no surprise that proposals are in the works each year. Every guy should start the search for engagement rings in Sydney early because when it comes to finding her perfect match, there is plenty to learn! One of the most important things to remember is that a lot of women expect proposals or some sort of grand gesture on Valentine’s Day. This means that you should organise something a little out of the ordinary to make sure there’s still some sort of surprise or wow factor. Then again, if she hates surprises something lower key could definitely be the way to go!

      Romantic

A romantic proposal for just the two of you could be exactly what she wants. Put some thought into what kind of setting matches her personality. Does she love some good champagne and a cheeseboard? Would she want a picturesque view that would make a beautiful photo? Start off with a date idea that she would love and take it from there – you want her to be in a good mood! One of our clients found the perfect yellow diamond ring for his bride and planned gorgeous picnic proposal. How could she not say yes to that?

      Sweet

If she’s extra close to her family and friends, she might want to share the moment with them. A sweet proposal doesn’t have to be cheesy but a grand gesture in front of friends and family could be what she’s always dreamed of! Think red roses or fireworks and a stunning ring to match. Oval engagement rings were very popular last year and one of our lucky clients had a proposal that was just as sweet! Could red heart balloons melt her heart too?

      Thrilling

If your lady is an adrenaline junkie or an adventurer, something a little more unconventional could be the best idea of all. Not every proposal has to involve champagne and flowers… One of our clients planned skydiving trip with an extra special landing! Try to think about everything around the question itself and how you can make each part of her day special in its own way.

If you’re planning a Valentine’s Day proposal this year, Midas Jewellery has you covered. We love helping our clients start their happy ever after and we can’t wait to hear about the fabulous proposals you have planned!
